That was a masterclass of suck by Dach and Matheson to let up that chance.

That's a pretty big concern going forward whenever we get in the playoffs.

I just can't visualize guys like Suzuki/Caufield/Hutson getting pissed and trying to get the team fired up when they're slumping in a playoff series.

The drop pass in PP to Suzuki or Newhook so they can enter the zone in full speed just to pass it at the blue line to a non moving teammate is such a bad play. They should enter the zone deep then pass it back

Hopefully this uninspired stretch of hockey right before the 4 Nations break has inspired Hughes to be a seller ASAP. This team has 0 chance of making the playoffs, it'd be foolish not to trade for some assets and improve our pick this year.

It’s either perfectly telegraphed so NJ knows exactly what where the puck will go next, or it’s just randomly thrown into an open area, hoping someone wearing red will be there. Nothing in between.

There is no reason for this team to have crumble that hard just because of Heineman. Only logical reason was that they we’re riding off adrenaline high from Laine come back and playing way over their head. They are just back to baseline.
