Mercer was a flash in the pan. Great if you want a guy who won't get hurt but I'm starting to see he doesn't get hurt because he doesn't do dick to get his nose dirty and is lazy and maybe dim.

I don't know if I've seen a winger with more egregious errors in the defensive end as Mercer. He can't get a clear to save his life

He needs to focus more on laying it out there, than keeping his injury free streak going .

Guy is so lackadaisical in many games. Bad on the walls too.

MSG crew have gone off the homerism deepend tbh, it's nigh on unwatchable.

It was an ok period, but they gave some prime scoring chances that a good team would capitalise on.

In terms of actually skating and trying, yes. Night and day from Vegas game

I will say it again. Anyone expecting more than .500 hockey without Nico will be sorely disappointed. This team will only be good with their first two C’s healthy

As we are tight to the cap if Fitz wants to shake up the team a bit, Mercer is one of the few players with bigger salary and no trade protection. He could go in a hockey trade. I'm kinda 50-50 with him.
