Would have rather have lost 5-2 or something or gave up a bunch on that 5 minute PP.

The first two periods were as bad as any 2 periods this year. And the man advantage situations were so bad.

They're a 4 center team without 2 of their top 3 centers and without their starting goalie. Not that shocking.

Most teams aren't top teams without their 1C, 3C and #1 goalie. They need to find a way to keep on banking some points until the 4 Nations tournament.

I know, but winning a few more faceoffs and having PPs that weren't all cut short by 20-30 seconds due to losing them sure would have gave us a better shot.

We should be able to beat some of these teams without those guys.

And Haula was doing nothing for quite a while before he went down. He'd probably be an upgrade right now because we need a center, but I don't think he's got much to give offensively. And we can't score.
