Dougie and Jack were wack on the SHG. Dougie for the initiation or stupidity and then Jack didn't back check but initiated forward pressure and the other guy was already getting behind him. Jack should have b lined back on D and at least made it a 2v1, oh well...

Allen is a fkin sieve tonight. It's the off Allen version. Not the shutout one.

We could have had 2 goal to 0 lead if Timo, MacDermid or Dowling could have buried one of those high grade chances. Instead we are rolling into a trash dump 0-3 first period.

Can't put all the blame on Allen. They started slow as usual and have been getting outworked. They had chances to score because it's Buffalo but still. This team is scary bad compared to December.

Hopefully Fitz brings some reinforcements soon. Teams around us are proactive and getting better. We have injuries but you can't trot out our bottom 6 nightly right now and expect results.

Now you see why I freak out over every early lead for the other team? It feels like we've been watching this happen a lot for the last 5 weeks.

Especially against the loser teams much more than the good teams. This last week is the softest schedule we'll probably have the rest of the year with BuffaLOL, the washed up Pittsburgh retirement home residents and Montreal being 3 of the 4 opponents.

First was kind of a bad rebound, but I don't know, I've seen way worse. I don't think I've nailed a goalie on that many.

Goal 3? Would you like a save on a breakaway? Yeah. But how many breakaways have we allowed this game? There was basically TWO on that power play. He stopped the first one.

I'd pull him, but only to get Daws some work.

I don't wanna throw Daws into a game another loser, suck, humpty, chump team on Tuesday. Unless he's good the rest of this game, and even then I'd still be hesitant.

Only goal I really put on him is the first one. Reminded me of the goal that got scored on him against the Flyers last week. Shot right in the glove, bad rebound.

Not really, they're still in a good spot overall and at full health they're a good team. Let's just say I'm glad the 4 nations break is coming soon lol. Should help stabilize things.

So check it out, all the teams we really need to lose tonight are favored to lose. Not counting Montreal right now, they've died out a bit, but maybe they go on another hot streak like Detroit did after cooling off.

Islanders, Jackets, Red Wings, all favored to lose tonight, And so was Buffalo in this game.

Let's see how many of the Islanders, Jackets and Red Wings lose tonight. I'd love to see a CLEAN SWEEP again in regulation if possible. I think the Islanders winning streak ends tonight. Not sure about the other two. If Demko starts then I'm pretty sure Detroit wins, they may win anyway. Dallas has disappointed us quite a few times when we need them to beat someone. Not as much as HUMPTY, cream of the crap Utahrizona though.

And speaking of the Jackets and Sabres, I bet you anything the Jackets beat these Sabres on Tuesday.
