Watching the replays again, definitely goes right shoulder first and then hits head in the boards aswell. For what its worth the trainer was checking the neck area too and not the shoulder.

PP shift, Meier took the faceoff. Not sure if its been Jack before this? He took a hit to the right shoulder area near the boards but stayed on for another 50 seconds and then went down the tunnel.
