Who cares?Pull a Kovalchuk and retire from the NHL/ask for a mutual termination if it bothers you so much. Maybe they can go sign wherever he plays next year. I heard Helsinki and Tampere are nice during hockey season.

Great contracts! Erik Haula for $3+ million next year and Ondrej Palat at $6 million will be GREAT value when the cap rises!
