This is taking so long that other teams beat writers are getting in on it by calling our players.

Muk and Holtz feels like a bit much with a 1st on top. Basically 3 first rounders.
I think that would be a little on the rich side but also an overpay the Devils could live with since Meier replaces Holtz and Muhk is 3rd/4th on the defensive prospect depth chart.

It would be a good deal for SJ and a decent deal for the Devils, imo.

I mean that is what we've been expecting. If it turns out that we wait 2 hours just to find out that the return is exactly what we all guessed it would be, I'm going to be annoyed.
I'll take that wait for that result...it'd be far worse to wait that long only to get the blue balls of Nemec or whomever being involved after all

So...

Meier-Hughes-Bratt
Tatar-Hischier-Mercer
Palat-Haula-Zetterlund
Wood-McLeod-Bastian

I'd still try to upgrade that LW4

Mukhamadullin is the #2 LD prospect behind Luke Hughes. The Devils have two long-term pieces at LD in Siegenthaler and Luke Hughes, but the third is a significant question. Right now, I'd guess the answer would be Mukhamadullin, but if he's gone we're not without options next season and the season after.

1) Re-sign Ryan Graves (if he's willing to sign a team-friendly deal)
2) Nikita Okhotiuk
3) Kevin Bahl
4) Another trade
