Today we only had 1 PP and Kovy played 21 minutes. Too everyone who complains about his icetime. Quite obvious is jacked up because of the PP, and he does not exert much energy on the PP

I think a few years of covering the Devils has endeared him to this particular set of players. At this point, people like Lou, Pete, Marty, etc. are like office friends of his. He likes these guys a lot and wants them to succeed.

Ya, the minute they say,"Hey the Devils are actually exciting!", we'll know the team sucks. That's what happened during the MacLean half season.

People started to think the Devils were exciting during the playoffs last year. But that may have been because they knocked out all of the media/public's little darlings so they had no choice but to act like they were mildly entertaining. Everyone bought into the excitement of their aggressive forecheck and how it generates offense. The team plays the same style but I guess everyone hates it again. Fine by me.

True. That Philly series was especially good with our style. We forechecked the Flyers to hell, and Marty shut down their dump and chase by himself.

Same reason we don't like it when idiots like Steggy and Errey whine about the trap. It misinforms the next generation of fans and perpetuates stupid stereotypes.

This vid made me go back and watch some larsson highlights from when he was playing in sweden. He was not soft there at all, excited to see him grow as he gets more experience here in the nhl. Also, get him on the pp somehow please.

Every game puts some sort of fright into us, but they are a veteran team and showed no letdown in the TB game last week.

Does Steggo and Errey still think we play the trap? Not that it's surprising, because other teams announcers do too like the Panthers. Even players and coaches. I saw a few interviews last year on opposing teams feeds where they ask the assistant coaches keys to the game. They said ''Beat and get through that trap'' this was later in the season too. It pisses me off to be honest. These coaches are doing a real good job at scouting their opponents too.

He's a positional defenceman, but he's not really soft here either. He cleaned out somebody with a few minutes to go, and he rode the Pens forwards to the boards pretty well too. And as he gains more experience, he will learn how to pick his spots even better.

I agree, he needs to get on the PP eventually, but I feel like Zidlicky will have to leave the team before that happens.
