To Detroit: Boeser 50% retained ($3.325M)
To Vancouver: Rasmussen, Soderblom, and a 2nd round pick
To Vancouver: Rasmussen, Soderblom, and a 2nd round pick
Take out soderblom and wings probably do it
Respect for keeping it realwhat? It would take at minimum a 2nd (likely more) just to rid of Rasmussen.
So we’re getting Boeser for free?
Nah.Take out soderblom and wings probably do it
Rasmussen is a 6’6” 3rd liner who can defend decently well and chip in 25-30 points. He only makes 3M. The fact that you think he has negative value is laughable.what? It would take at minimum a 2nd (likely more) just to rid of Rasmussen.

Why would Vancouver consider this?To Detroit: Boeser 50% retained ($3.325M)

If they think they lose Boeser this summer anyway they get 2/3rds of a 3rd line for basically nothing. Why would Vancouver consider this?
You clearly don’t know how deadline deals work, do ya?Would want Kasper.
Aren’t you a Canucks fan? This makes 0 sense for Van and would easily be beat by another team.To Detroit: Boeser 50% retained ($3.325M)
To Vancouver: Rasmussen, Soderblom, and a 2nd round pick
Boeser scored 40 goals last year was on pace again this year until the head shot.Take out soderblom and wings probably do it

We just traded a 2nd to get rid of Walman who also made around $3M while being a vastly better player despite his flaws.Rasmussen is a 6’6” 3rd liner who can defend decently well and chip in 25-30 points. He only makes 3M. The fact that you think he has negative value is laughable.
He’s not great but he’s far from negative asset lol. Especially with the premium GMs place on size

Even if the cap were going down, Ras would still get an asset back. The cap is going way way up. We would easily get an asset back in a trade for Ras.
Kasper ain't going anywhere, especially not for Boeser.

Size means very little when he doesn’t use it
A guy who’s 6’6 but plays like he’s 5’6 and contributes very little at any part of the ice while making $3.2m?Yeeeahhh. No it wouldn't lol.

If you say so
Actually, the last 2 games have examples that make one think that Ras might finally understand how he can be effective. He went to the net against Calgary and scored on a tip in. And against Vancouver, there is no way Chiarot scores without Ras and Soderblom screening the goalie. No, he did not get a point, but yes, he did his job.We just traded a 2nd to get rid of Walman who also made around $3M while being a vastly better player despite his flaws.

I honestly don’t know what you watch. He’s not super physical but he’s quite good defensively and does a solid job as a 3rd/4th liner. He’s not a great 3rd liner but he’s not a bad one. He’s probably overpaid by like 500K. This is crazy exaggeration lolA guy who’s 6’6 but plays like he’s 5’6 and contributes very little at any part of the ice while making $3.2m?
