Sproul over Hicketts only because he has played 2 ahl seasons. If Hicketts grabs a spot and out performs Ryan he will fall even further down the drain.

Sproul, add Pearson.

I actually think both Sproul and Turgeon are pretty good prospects, I hope when we do this next time they are both top 10.

The thing Sprouls got going for himself this year is Blashill being gone.
The only direction his play could trend is up

How Sproul is the 13th best prospect is beyond me. He still has the highest potential of any dmen in the system, albeit it is unlikely he reaches that potential. While bias is expected on team specific boards, most of these 12 prospects ahead of him also will not be making much of an NHL impact. Detroit will be lucky to get 1-2 impact players, and 3-4 bottom line/pairing players from this specific group of prospects.

I hope people aren't giving up on Sproul. He just turned 22 back in January. A lot of defenseman don't really hit their stride until they are 25-26 anyway. It's not like he forgot how to produce points, or his offense is going to magically disappear. Let him cook in the A for another year while working with Nelson. If Sproul can even develop into a mediocre/below average defender at the NHL level he will have a job somewhere in this league.

I am still cautoiusly optimistic that Sproul can develop into a 3rd pairing, PP1 QB.
