On a side note, it's really cool to see Nedeljkovic showing that his doubters are wrong and that small goalies can, in fact, succeed in the NHL. He's certainly going to be the crucial piece behind the ultimate question of this coming offseason, aka. "How to pay both Svech and Dougie and still have cap room".

I mean it's still very early in his career but he has definitely made the coaches have to think twice about the goalie situation once Mrazek is healthy. Unfortunately barring a trade I think we know how it will play out. Ned is so intriguing though.

Knowing how consistent player safety is, probably nothing.

I'm really baffled about this Brett slew-foot incident as I'm sure has been discussed ad nauseum in earlier pages. Like, did he say something about his mom, I just don't get it.

Dangerous and bizarre.

Guys snap and do stupid stuff. I am sure he'll hear about it from all sides, and it won't become a habit.

Glad the Canes got a win with how out of sorts they looked for most of the first two periods.

This was Ned's shakiest outing in a while, but at least he kept most of them out of the net. Hopefully it was just jitters from a home crowd again causing a few of his bad habits to show up again. Still promising on the whole though.

Svech looked good most of the game and it's good to see him with a goal and some great passing. Hopefully that sparks his game a bit (not that he's been bad, we just know he has even more in him). As must as we like SAT, I'm glad they broke up that line as they didn't show much. Nice to see a lot of the usual suspects in Staal, Trocheck, Necas, and Niderreiter get on the scoresheet. Fast is becoming a really great fit for the team like we expected.

Out of the games I've seen with fans, that was about the loudest I've heard in any of them at the end. Great to get some fans back in the building. Not an indictment on either Reimer or Ned, but I hope we can see Mrazek next game as there was some speculation that might be his target at one point.
