And yeah I think at least a decent chunk of the problem with this goes to Rod. He was asked about the Canes inability to start games on time last week and basically ridiculed the reporter who asked.

It's a valid question. And it gets mocked by the coach.

No down votes on this board but BOO!! Rod has had us in the playoffs in back to back years after 9 years without sniffing them. He has us solidly in a position to make it 3 years in a row. He is not the problem the schedule is way against us right now we are on game 8 in what 14 days? While a bad team the Wings are still a NHL team and to be honest I'm not sure I would call them the worst in the league a few teams in the West and North would fight them for that label
