Winning gracefully. THAT MEANS NO POST-GAME DUNKING.
For Halloween, we will dress up as a classy fanbase. No dunking, just a nice smooth finger roll.

Question to ponder on. Is it really wise to start Jarvis today? Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait to see him play as much as anyone else does, however it appears our top 9 is set and a decision on Jarvis going back to Juniors has to be made by game 9. So if the Canes are not going to keep him in the lineup when Nino comes back would it be better to call someone up to replace Nino than play Jarvis today just to send him down after the game and bring in someone else?
Thanks the way I read it the decision had to be made by the time he was on the active roster for 9 gamesdecision has to be made by the time he has started 9 games or been on the roster for 40ish games, iirc
Game at 1 and a friend’s wedding at 5. Sheesh. At least I won’t have to deal with giving out candy to kids.
If you are not in a financial bind, TVs are cheap. Get a 42" or something you can put on a tv table from WalMart.I can top that, Browns v Steelers at 1 also. Only on TV and I can't pic in pic from 2 different sources.
Andersen in goal and Jarvis will be all over the place.

Does playing against the Coyotes count as NHL experience?Yes. If he goes back to the juniors he will have that much more experience about playing in the big league and he will be better in the know of what the game will demand of him when training and preparing to be ready for the day when he legitly joins the NHL.
Yes I said if.
Brindy referred to your old discussion on a now-defunct board? The issue is that hockey contains so much more variability (luck) than all the other major sports. Better team can clearly outplay the opposition but catch a few bad breaks and still lose. This is something we discussed in detail on the other, now defunct board, and I just heard Brindy refer to it again in a press conference.
What if they beat us and their fans come here quote this.Does playing against the Coyotes count as NHL experience?
If they beat us, I will buy a kachina jersey. What if they beat us and their fans come here quote this.
The mere thought got my snide gland pulsating.
Canes are going to lose their first game at some point. Let's just not let it be today.
I'm just hoping that this is not some "trap game". Arizona may stink harder than I've seen any team stink in quite some time, but that also doesn't mean that we should "play down" to competition. Maybe having a likely-extremely hungry kid in Seth Jarvis around the group will help in this regard, at least for today.
Got a little ptsd going on w this one. I was at that 9 to 0 "thrashing that fateful Sat night in Atlanta.
Let*s get this done quickie.
psa, all puns intended.
