I don't think it's clear, it will be clear after next year when Dermott slots into the second D pairing after Gardiner's departure. Dermott is 22 in only his first full season. At the end of the day the Canes only lose out because they don't need D.
I think Slavin is their number #1Toronto saying no... You do know that Pesce is already their #1D right ?
Did you give any thought into what CAR's needs are? Any idea why they'd even entertain trading away Pesce?...hmmm...no.
Awful proposal.
The biting is good, eh OP?
Slavin and Pesce are both at the same level, Pesce is just more defensive with a +20I think Slavin is their number #1
Doesn't really help the Canes much.
Infact, they get worse and save money that they don't need to save.
Slavin and Pesce are both at the same level, Pesce is just more defensive with a +20
BEtter Ceiling imo with Pesce
RNH for Auston MatthewsAlmost have identical stat lines - value is there. Sure I get the Hurricanes want a forward.. Value for Value? It's pretty close
No way any Carolina or hockey fan is going to agree with this statement. I don't think you realize how good Slavin is..
Almost have identical stat lines - value is there. Sure I get the Hurricanes want a forward.. Value for Value? It's pretty close
Not about saving money at all, it's about getting a LHD. Carolina has a huge surplus of RHD.
I get this type of deal goes against the grain from a Carolina perspective because you're dead set on a forward.
