Hopefully Ottawa does sign Dennis Seidenberg to a contract. I liked Seidenberg when he was a Flyer.
At this stage in his career Seidenberg won't put up a lot of points but he will help Ottawa immensely on the back end as a stay at home defensemen on the 3rd pair.
These are my thoughts.
Ottawa solidified their top 4 by acquiring Phaneuf before the deadline last year.
If they get Seidenberg for the botton pair their D is shaping up to be top 10 in the league, maybe better. Mix that with a damn deep forward group and this season is looking good for Sens fans.
