“Last 3 playoff appearances”
Spans over a decade lol
He's had the standard goalie hip procedure thats become common place among NHL goalies. Not a chronic issue.Demko's had hip surgeries before right? Playing with bad hips really adds stress on your knees as a goalie. Could be wear and tear that's built up from playing with bad hips years ago
There are people on twitter that will cheer anything.saw an oilers fan cheer the injury on twitter. wild
That's why they should platoon DeSmith and Silovs until Demko is back. DeSmith is the quintessential backup in the sense that he's not nearly as good when he's "the guy".This is brutal news.
DeSmith threw in the odd terrific game this year, but any time he had a run of games, he'd start to break down. Hope's he got his best ready to go, here.
Goes without saying this is a massive loss for them and a potential turning point of their season
He was also great at the start of the year.DeSmith was well below average when Demko was out earlier.
Reminds me of when Price went down with an injury in game 1 or the ECF 10 years ago and the Habs went with Tokarski instead of Budaj. Sometimes you can really throw a team off when you throw in an unknown. That's why they should platoon DeSmith and Silovs until Demko is back. DeSmith is the quintessential backup in the sense that he's not nearly as good when he's "the guy".
Agreed, Forsberg is 10 X the player Pettersen is currently.Forsberg says hello.
This series is still winnable with Desmith/Silovs. The next one notsomuchHolyshit, they are done. They are gonna get Sarossed.
Georgiev you can’t seriously argue withIt’s ok guys. Desmith is better than most of the goalies in the playoffs anyway.
