Half-Assed GDT: Delayed Game Delayed GDT Blues Vs Ducks

Impressive win by The Blues. They dominated from the beginning. Lots of stars in this one. Holloway, Binnington, Schenn, Bolduc, Walker, Faksa, Thomas, Buchnevich, Kyrou, Broberg, Fowler, Sundqvist. Tucker stepped up to help fill the gap left by Parayko's injury. Leddy is playing well, too. The whole team has bought in. It's nice to see The Blues taking it seriously and playing disciplined hockey. Too bad Monty didn't get fired by The Bruins much earlier this season. This late season streak makes me feel really good about next season.

Too bad they had to win Game 7 against the Leafs. We could’ve had Monty from the start.

Twas Anaheim, but damn was that fun to watch. The Blues have definite room for improvement, but a lot of these pieces they have in place are looking good.

I have to give a log of credit to Bolduc. He’s looking like a top-6 winger every passing game. The pass was brilliant, but his puck tracking and positioning are superb.
Yes, Bolduc has a lot of offensive skills, and has been working hard on his defensive skills and other hockey skills. I'm surer he's ready to play in The Blues' Top 6 forwards. He's always had a good shot. Now he's adding higher levels of other hockey skills. He's now got a more well-rounded game than several other Blues' forwards.

His positioning is next-level.

I have been a big fan of his game for months. He is already challenging and will continue to be challenging Nieghbors for that spot on Thomas wing. If they keep the Schenn line together the top six is going to be hyper competitive next year. Add in Dovrsky and Snuggy and how they fit everyone in is going to be super interesting. Really we should be able to ice three really dynamic lines with the ability to score on each one. Unlike this year where secondary scoring was a challenge for so long.

Im still thinking the Blues miss the playoffs by a point or two. I've seen this story a few times over the years.

Those games the team should have won back in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb will come back to haunt them.
