It was intentional and dangerous IMO. Should have been a suspension.

Most people are far more likely to believe players when they say incidents like this are accidents. I just don't buy it. I think a lot of players (Tom Wilson included) are playing this game where they pretend to not be trying to do precisely the things that they are trying to do. I have an extraordinarily low tolerance for disingenuousness.

This is a very commendable trait, indeed.

What kind of heinous eff-ery is this? Because I live in SoCal, I can't have access to the Caps broadcast, only the Ducks broadcast team. Might as well take a nap instead.

BTW, the Ducks broadcast starts with this line " After three straight wins on the road, the Anaheim Ducks run head first into Tom Wilson and the Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals" while showing his clip on Seney. That's the first hockey image they show on their broadcast, Wilson hitting Seney.

One thing is certain tho, the league has pretty much told the refs to call anything and everything on Tom Wilson. That game plenty was ludicrous. The goalie interference after scoring, his first game back I believe, was ludicrous. Expect this to happen all season.

It's been that way for a few years now. People are just more aware of it now that there are suspensions on the line.
