Certainly not under these circumstances, but I’ve been wanting them to give Keane an NHL shot for a while. If he shows well, that gives them options when it comes to negotiations with Bear and TDA this summer, assuming they also re-sign Keane cheaply.

My guess would be that Keane and one of Jacobs/Chatfield meet the team in Dallas. I can’t see them calling up LaJoie and running with 5 lefties and Keane, but I could be wrong.

That sucks. I thought i saw some players added and removed from the protocol in a couple of days so I thought there was a chance this was a few days kinda thing instead of almost two weeks.

Or Move Trocheck to D with Skjei and keep Smith with Cole

KoKo takes the place of either Staal or Trocheck and Stephens fills in on the 4th line.
