Nice. How was it? What does good mean? Was it difficult? I was under the impression you were going to be an officer...is that true or am I mistaken? Would you like me to keep asking questions? Did you have many people with you at Army? Did you shoot anything? Why is the sky blue? Why is water wet? Why did Judas rat to the Romans while Jesus slept? What do you put in your coffee? Have you ever met someone this annoying?

It was boring at times, it was stressful at times, it was fun at times. It wasn't too difficult, so long as you were trying your best and not a complete ****-up, you'd have done well. I am going to be an officer, you are correct. No, stop asking questions.... I didn't shoot anything... something about pigments and light refracting... because... uh... I dunno, I'm not Judas I don't drink coffee yes I've met you before.

What's the max file size for sponsors?
I've made one for you but I dunno if it will look good after being uploaded to the site

150x150 pixels and under 100.0kb (Buffalo increased the kb limit a month ago or so).

Had a great night celebrating a friend's birthday, then got home and found out that my favourite teacher (though four years of high school, four years of university and one year of college) was diagnosed with cancer.

**** this ****.

Sorry to hear that, man :(

Didn't the Romans offer Judas a bunch of gold and stuff to rat him out?
**** judas.

As usual Smeddy, you are correct. Technically. However, the sociopolitical and individual dynamics of Judas' betrayal are more complex and what exactly went on in that man's head we'll never know for sure. It is widely theorized that Judas was expecting a balls to the wall, no holds barred, outstandingly bloody, Old-Testament style revolution with the smashing baby heads on the rocks, walls of Jericho type of **** going on. When Jesus started preaching this whole wishy washy (in his view) religious crap about doing unto others and turning the other cheek he just up and decided to get what he could out of the whole venture. Very mercenary. **** Judas indeed.

*amendment: the gold (actually 30 pieces of silver so not even gold) came from the Pharisee's, not the Romans. It was subsequently the Pharisee's who handed Jesus over to the Romans, demanding that they execute him by any means, ostensibly for treason but for them it was really because of Jesus's blasphemous assertion that he was the Son of God. Due to Roman law at the time, the Pharisee's were unable to execute anyone independently without severe repercussions from the Empire, thus the convoluted scheme, Pilot's washing his hands to appease the masses in his district and then the crucifixion of a formerly insignificant Hebrew. It can be said that the ramifications of this dirty business had the entirely opposite effect for everybody involved. The Christian headache would remain doggedly persistent.

I didn't see Hollerado, but I was surprised with tickets to see them in Toronto with another band I'm in love with in a few weeks. I'll take it.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, I love learning about the bible. And also, **** Judas.

Have any of you (current and past) university students taken a cognitive science course? There's one I'm looking at called Mystery of the Mind. It looks pretty awesome, but it's only availbe as a video on demand class. I was thinking of switching my SOCI 1000 class for it but I'm not sure. It would also help with my Breadth requirement. Opinions?

I tired to make you an avatar with another picture, but I can never make 125x125 avatars look good.

Well, it looks fine, but due to the file size, it's all blurry when uploaded to the site.

I loathe making 125 x 125 avatars because it's difficult finding something that looks good at such a small size. I advise using a headshot rather than full body pic because it'll be incredibly small.

EDIT: I gave it a quick go. Not sure how I feel about it, but I'm always iffy on 125 x 125 avatars.

Congrats for sticking it out so long, dude. Great willpower.

Also, RE: bolded... nine times out of ten, that can be applied to any of life's situations. It's all about faking it til you make it.
