I think he'll come back for the third.welp that’s probably it for jiriceks tournament. Salt in the wound
The things you learn on hockey boards.lolWell, looking forward to the 3rd period, time to take my prozac in intermission to make sure I will be able to join you all here for it.
Every day is a depressing grind in this frozen wasteland of a country.
Czechs had the 1st period and Slovaks the 2nd.So Czechs don't have Dvorak or Jiricek.lol
Slovaks were much better that period. Well deserved lead. Czechs need to wake up in intermission.
Specifically, Sale/Kulich/Sapo need some solid shifts as they are not that noticeable so far.
Slovakia barely has any NHL players left. Why would our prospects get favor-picked? We actually have the same exact problem and it is a known thing - so many random players from Finnish and Swedish junior leagues (in later rounds, ofc) got drafted and some of our guys that deserved to get drafted more were ignored.Honestly, I will come off as a Slovak-hater, but even just looking at the point production of their players in CHL, it seems to me that their prospects get overrated on a regular basis. See for example Team Latvia, we have kids that never got drafted and are playing at the same level, while half of the Slovaks are drafted. Honestly, it's a mystery to me. I'm not hating on anyone, but it is something that I've noticed.
God, I laughed so hard when I saw the index of depression rates, that's a first here for this tournament. The things you learn on hockey boards.lol
I haven't heard anything but it looked rough. Hoping for the best.Is it confirmed that Jiricek won't come back for the third?
I wonder how long that poster had that ready to copy and send?lol 'oh, wait till I get to the world jr's and zing the Canadian posters with my depression rates index!'God, I laughed so hard when I saw the index of depression rates, that's a first here for this tournament.
It was beautiful.
