Dude passed Chris Drury as Mr. Clutch for the Avs his first year with us. Four... count them... One, Two, Three, Four...FOUR MF'in GWGs in the playoffs. What Lehky lacks in natural skill he more than makes up for in his appetite for ass.
Me too buddy, me too. But as RIAL has mentioned, we needed to move on yesterday as his value is tanking by the moment. I still find it somewhat hard to believe the Avs officially listed him on the 4th line, even though we all knew it. More than anything else, I think that publically shows he's completely on the way out with no chance of redemption here.
I actually didn't mind his game. I'm sure the stat sheet doesn't say anything positive, but he worked his ass off.

As I said in the post, every time they showed an Avs goal on the postgame, they snuck in a picture of John Mitchell’s neighbor (a guy they referred to as “Seeder”) looking pained. Obviously the guy is an Oilers fan and they made it clear he probably wasn’t happy seeing those Colorado highlights.

As bad as goals 2 and 3 were on Blackwood tonight, he slammed the door shut in the 3rd period and made some other timely saves (Arvidsson robbery post-Draisaitl 2nd goal) to keep the team in it.
Man. Just get a couple of depth defensemen and overpay for a 2C if you have to, and this team CAN compete for a cup.
