He just doesn't trust that 2nd line at all. Even Drouin gets low minutes when stuck in there.
Drouin only gets low minutes because he's playing with arguably Bednar's two most despised forwards.

As soon as Nichushkin returns, that line will see an increase in ice time but I'm afraid if it's Mittelstadt between them, it's going to be ineffective.

You can't play 4v5 constantly and with him on the ice that's basically what it is.

I know we wish MacKinnon, Makar, and Toews could rest but truly the one guy who deserves it the most is Lehkonen and he's gotta now go to battle for Finland.

Every single one of this guy's shifts is a f***ing war. In front, in the corners, chasing down pucks, blocking shots, taking abuse.

F*** me. If he wasn't so prideful I'd hope he would fake some injury and rest for two weeks.

Lehkky is our great underrated player we'll remember for ever.

Scored the Cup goal

I thought mitts was just a little off. He had so many times where he was just about to push the puck forward and get away. Or deke through a defender. Or a pass just didn't click.

If he has a play driving winger like Nuke on his line for an entire playoff run I genuinely think Mitts would look solid.

Or if he played in the AHL.

Either of those two options.

Mittelstadt created literally 0 individual offense. Like, not a sliver.

Even Parssinen, in less time, and Drouin, his linemates, created some offense.

He’s so cooked.

Yeah it will be Mitts, unless he gets traded. In any case Parssinen is going down the line-up. Not that there'll be much of a difference to what he gets now.

This was Parssinen’s last game until the next injury.

Val is supposed to be good to go after the tournament. Parssinen will for sure be sacrificed as the healthy scratch for Val.

He's the non-pest version of Claude Lemieux. A f***ing gamer who is arguably the most clutch player in hockey.
Lehky is such a strange animal. When you see him in the locker room he looks pretty damn small, he doesn't skate fast, doesn't have good hands, doesn't have a good shot, doesn't do anything great.

Dude is 100% hockey IQ and effort.
