Prospect Info: David Reinbacher - Laval Rocket edition

You don’t think it matters to have rehabilitation expertise before passing judgement on a rehab plan?
You mean a speculative rehab plan? We don't know what the plan actually is. Posters are just coming up with what they think the plan is. Also, no, I don't think you need expertise to provide judgement on a hockey message board lol.

He was skating very well after his return to play. Very much the opposite of how Dach looked like at the beginning of the season.

If it's the knee that is bothering him, then we are in serious trouble. That's two projected core pieces that we can no longer count on.

How does being a drama queen feel?

If he is feeling soreness in the knee, it doesn't mean that the knee is shot and that he will never play at a reasonable level in the NHL.

Big operation. Rehab process...

What's important is next training camp for the Habs. In the few games played, Reinbacher looks like he didn't miss a beat. Playing more games this year would definitely help, but it won't be the end of the world if the time is used to properly heal instead.

This is depressing.

Drafting a 18 year old kid with braces on both of his knees and with known knee problem is not a good idea.

Who has better knees? Dach or Reinbacher?

Wait, he had knee braces on when we drafted him, and we still passed on Michkov/Leonard? We drafted Forrest Gump? Are you serious?

I was all for the pick until I found out his injury history, which was way after the fact. I don't know what kind of fetish our management has with obtaining players who have a long injury history (Dach and Reinbacher). It feels like they think they are the smartest guys in the room.

I wouldn't mind seeing Reinbacher resume skating today.

Any news ? I thought I saw a snippet on DLC (garbage, I know) saying he practiced, but nothing from any reliable sources. I know we're all nerds here and nobody outside our degenerate circle cares, but it would be cool if the org could give us some updates

I don’t recall Reinbacher walking up to the stage like Tiny Tim. I’m sure they did their due diligence before drafting him. It’s not like Reinbacher was a reach either. Montreal wasn’t the only team interested in him either. He would’ve gone top 10.

He was going at 5. It's largely been established since the draft that everyone was angling to get Reinbacher after the first 4 came off the board.

Don't worry guys !
