Reinbacher is a solid pick. I think he's going to be a Hamrlik-type defenseman. You need that type of defenseman to win championships. Simply a matter of getting him to play games.

I'm sorry if you took my post as personal attack. You are anonymous on a forum where we are all attacked every day and with the time we are being here, it's usual and harmless. But it work both side, Reinbacher had personal attacks way more unjustified and more threatening. He's not an anonymous guy on internet like you but a guy with a face, a name and an identity. He didn't deserved the hate he received and you instead of saying "excuse-me" you add a layer to that nonsense threatenings. Somehow, you were a part of this and not me. And I would like you to redeem yourself with a post saying you're sorry if in any way you parcipated in that hate bandwagon that went too far.

I am OK with this pick but not 100% happy. I feel that we took the late riser at a position of need (C or RD). It didn't work out with Kotkaniemi, but maybe it does with Reinbacher. The issue with a Reinbacher type pick is the long term prospect management that is required. I don't think our fan base has the patience for it.
I still feel we have a top 4RD. We just don't know how long his development will be. This injury was a setback for sure. Hopefully he can get some games in and start some confidence/momentum from it.
My ceiling level with Reinbacher is a H Lindholm type. Someone who is good at both ends and no glaring flaws.

Reinbacher will be at least AT LEAST, a 2nd pair 2-way D that will play 20 minutes.

It's been about 4 months since his injury, has he started any type of skating yet? Originally they said he would be out about 5 months, that timeline is approaching.

I would be very patient with this kid. My gut tells me it will take time. Mange his ELC and RFA years well. I'd be giving Mailloux a shot before Reinbacher (unless DR performs to a level you can't block). We have to find out how good Mailloux is before he is not waiver exempt anymore.

Reinbacher will never get the flashy headlines but he's going to be a player we appreciate and value highly. Similar to Guhle, but his ceiling could be higher

i hope sweetums is handling the mean words on twitter ok, it will only get better when he's in the NHL. I hear people on the ice are super nice to you and positive all the time. Apparently guys like Marchand are really supportive and encouraging to people that need it. Should be a breeze mentally from here onwards.
