Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. EDIT: Before I get quoted again that someone else was a worse coach, I am not saying that Quinn was actually the worst. I am saying that whoever is put in this position will be called an idiot and the worst coach we've ever had.

I liked Martin and know what, he got results. But you let the new coach pick his staff. Micromanaging it would be setting up the new coach for failure.

Ain't that the truth...Farewell to the worst coach this team has ever had ... until the next one.
In all honesty, I think Quinn did a fine job. He wasn't perfect and I got frustrated with him at times this year. Some of his flaws were masked by the play of Zibanejad and Panarin last year, but this team definitely over-achieved under his reign. Can't bash him for certain things and not give him credit for others. Players spoke highly of him (publicly at least) and a lot of our young guys improved, albeit slowly.
Now my next impending challenge is making it through this search without screaming "NO" at my laptop one more time...

Idk that we'll get better or worse with a new hire but no one should be surprised. 4 years of the same mistakes with extremely disappointing lack of growth in our top prospects offense. Still hate AV way way worse though. Not sure what Quinn ever did. Very much seemed like a passenger in terms of on ice strategy. Seemed like a good mentor as a person

I liked Martin but if whoever we hire can't pick a defensive coach, then we hired the wrong guy.
If the next guy is going to be an experienced dude, hes going to want to hire his own staff.

Agreed.. Probably will let the new coach have his own staff.. Might be better this way..
As for Quinn, I think his message got lost earlier in the season and it was apparent once the coaching staff had Covid..
Positives from DQ, Buchnevich really stepped up, and........ I’m really trying....
U will disagree...but the worst coach was Mike Keenan. Fired everywhere he goes..players hated him....traded Mike gartner..amonte..weight..for utter crapFarewell to the worst coach this team has ever had ... until the next one.

In the 24 years I've been here, I think we've had a horrible, idiotic coach, whom the team won in spite of , at least 6 times.
And every time you'll hear, "No, we didn't hate the last coach nearly this much. This one is different."

Don't think he was as bad as fans thought but I'm looking forward to a replacement. Feel bad for him, as a person he is a really good guy. Gives way better interviews than most coaches, seemed very cheerful when AK, Inferno & I met him at the draft
