  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I've always had faith he would pay dividends eventually, but I also think some criticism of the deal/him was fair. He's come out and proven he's still got some juice, but hard to fault anyone for needing to see it from a 37 year old before believing it. Hopefully he stays healthy and keeps contributing, because I like what he brings. Tenacity and poise. Strong on the boards. Patient in traffic.

He’s so smart, a small play on a Detroit rush back the other way but he say he couldn’t keep up and stepped Into the skating lane of his man who couldn’t get his feet going and kept it as a 2 on 2 instead of a 3 on 2. He makes it hard for the o
Hey I hope the crow comes in the playoffs. If Perron comes clutch with some scoring on our way to the SCF, I'll be munching away

We can share a crow at the Cup parade.

On a side not - Travis Green went from being one of the top 3 guys I would of Tanya Hardied to not get his name on the Cup, now I’d let this guy babysit my kids and take my wife out to dinner (she likes guys with big cheeks if you know what I mean!!)

It's amazing what you can make up on the ice just by outthinking the opponent or anticipating something before they do. I agree that's the kind of thing he brings.

I'll eat literal shit if that happens. Not too worried about it right now though, but will gladly do it if it makes a difference!

I won't actually do that

I like him a lot. He plays smart and he makes things happen. It feels like sometimes we have a bunch of players trying to make cute plays out there but he plays a lot more straight forward than most of our players. He’s always making things happen and he’s a major reason that 2nd line has been contributing.

Probably the biggest reason actually.

I think he’s a great guy to have with Batherson and Cozens.

The goal to tie the game yesterday came from Amadio and Perron being tenacious on the puck.

Those are the types of goals you score in the playoffs and we are seeing Perron included in those types of goals regularly now.

If he reaches 100% over the next few weeks, that bodes well for our playoff chances and then who knows once you make the dance.
Which I think is why SS acquired them. Amadio has also been producing a lot lately.

I have to admit it, I was wrong to think this guy was cooked. He clearly needed more time than we expected to get back up to his normal self, and he's proving down the stretch that he's still a hell of a clutch player.

Perron is a horse out there... He epitomizes Hard to Play Against. Sometimes players are just better fits with what the team around them is doing as well.

Screw the Ottawa based Detroit fans scouting reports they are as reliable as the Buffalo fans scouting reports.

He still has a lot in the tank. Playing like he has been recently he is earning his bucks too.
