Perron looked good the last two games

I hope we still add a top 6 guy to play with Stu then have Perron or G on the 2nd line whoever is going

That would nice, but not sure we’d have the assets to swing this, or at least, be prepared to give up what it takes in this market.

The second line was really good last night & hopefully if they can keep it up would help out the top line. The Pinto line is also coming on which is a good sign for this team, they just need to fix that 4th line before the weekend.
They miss cousins. He is tenacious. I don't mind Gregor.. I like his speed and he is physical. The C is the issue. Brazeau from the Bruins or Acciari from the Pens. Lizotte would be ok too. 2 would be better than 1r but the Sens have so little wiggle room

Brazeau would be interesting since he can play C or RW, but he's not as physical as he should be for his size, at least I haven't seen much of that when I have seen him play. I guess it also depends what they want on that 4th line whether they want to get bigger & tougher or they like the speed & forecheck.

I still prefer McCarron, he is big, hits, will drop the mitts can play C/RW, takes faceoffs, plays the PK & blocks shots & for a big guy is a decent fast skater & can play both roles.

The goal to tie the game yesterday came from Amadio and Perron being tenacious on the puck.

Those are the types of goals you score in the playoffs and we are seeing Perron included in those types of goals regularly now.

If he reaches 100% over the next few weeks, that bodes well for our playoff chances and then who knows once you make the dance.

So many fans eating crow on this guy.
Hey I'm happy to eat crow and hope I continue to do so. I also hope Perron continues playing well and hits double digits in goals. But I also hope we can upgrade on him in the off season and get someone who's a safe bet for middle 6 production because despite Perron's better play lately, he's still not likely to justify his contract next season.

I've always had faith he would pay dividends eventually, but I also think some criticism of the deal/him was fair. He's come out and proven he's still got some juice, but hard to fault anyone for needing to see it from a 37 year old before believing it. Hopefully he stays healthy and keeps contributing, because I like what he brings. Tenacity and poise. Strong on the boards. Patient in traffic.

You will have another serving of crow next season. Thank you.
