Let Perron work on his health and family, and hopefully management scoops up some depth using his cap hit
Signing Phil Kessel would be hilarious, especially if we made the playoffs and bounced Toronto in the first round lol
Maybe he could introduce his 'fitness' regime to the rest of our roster so they quit getting injured

Is he restricted from doing media when injured? I like his CIH spots.

He's skating with the team again so probably not done with his career, but yeah, a slipped disc at 36 is likely to mean he won't be a regular in the lineup for much longer and I wouldn't count on him contributing much going forward. Disappointing to say the least.

Why wouldn't he go the Jack Eichel route? Just because of his age?
Perron to me seems like the type who would do anything to keep playing hockey. I'd assume the only to keep him out would be his family situation.

Ullmark, Zub, Perron... 1 M$ retained on Korpi, being stucked with Hamonic... it's starting to be a lot for a team trying to get out of its rebuild.
Perron replaced Tarasenko, not Joseph. No idea what happened with Joseph, maybe he was not welcome anymore so they paid to move him but he should be in the conversation when talking about Perron. Salary and role it's Tarasenko replaced by Perron, Joseph replaced by Amadio although Amadio doesn't even PK so now it's Norris/Giroux on PK1
Cousins is on cheap contract and we're lucky because he can provide more than his AAV. Gaudette is not a comparable and came out of nowhere as he was not proven in the NHL even a 28 y/o

Didn't Eichel choose the surgery he did because it was supposed to have better results down the road once he's retired?
