David Pastrnak hits 100 points for the third season in a row

He impressed me as much as he ever has this season even though he didn't hit a career high in goals.

Pastrnak is a much better all-around player this season. Stronger along the boards. Better defensively. And his playmaking ability has taken a big jump. No telling how many assists he would have on beauty passes that his linemates failed to put into the net. He clearly has gained quite a bit of muscle over the past couple seasons, which has helped with his being stronger on the puck and more confident to go to areas be used to shy away from. Tremendous season by an elite player on a subpar team.

I was in shock to read Jagr didn't do it.lol

He would've had 6 in a row but he missed over 15 games in 2 seasons and came up 5 points shy.

Tremendous achievement from Pasta. Now get him 2 forwards for the Top 6.

1st Czech born player with three 100 point seasons in a row.
I'm guessing you knew this post was going to cause some uproar, lol.

Your statement does, quite shockingly, check out. Jagr paced for 100+ points for eight straight seasons but never managed to get there three consecutive times.

Pasta, though! 👍🏼

He's actually extremely underrated because people never include him in their top5.

It’s because McDavid, Kucherov, MacKinnon, Draisaitl, and Matthews are definitively better, and that’s before we crack into any defensemen and goalies.

He’s an awesome player, maybe even heads the list of best forwards after those five with his consistency factored in at this point, but never being in the top 5 is not because he’s underrated— it’s because there are a clear handful of players he’s objectively behind.

Really impressive, he’s an amazing hockey player! That contract is just so good. I’ve seen on various places that some experts thinks that upcoming UFA, Mitch Marner, another winger in the top 10 in scoring right now, deserves up to 13-14 mil on his next deal, but how could his team argue that with Pastrnak playing as he is on a contract that is similar to Marner’s teammate, Nylander?

Would love having som Pasta on my team :(

Good thing he isnt russian or the canadian media and fans would hate on him. Congrats to Pasta. Always love watching him play the Bolts.

Of course, whats not to love about the Czechs. Lovely country with fantastic people. NATO ally and a member of the global rules based order.

Also, Prague is a top 10 city in the world.

If anything him being Czech should help his rep.
