Oh look, this assist will prolong the stay of Pacioretty - Desharnais - Gallagher by another 5 games.

Good ****ing lord.

Indeed. I'm sick and tired of DD being pushed off the puck and laughably trying to "reach in" and try to make steals and fail constantly while our ridiculoulsy skilled Galchenyuk is stashed in the pantry for whatever strange reason.

Yea...I don't see any Max Pac thread. With DD we expect points but Max is supposed to be our big points producing power forward. And he's the laziest guy outthere. He's Moen #2.

Pacioretty was far worse today.

See, I credit this to both Patches and Desharnais' inconsistency. There is something to be said about change. Who knows, maybe both of them get a jump in their game with different linemates. Try Desharnais with Eller or Gionta and see what happens. Meanwhile, give Pacioretty the kids and again, see what happens. It cannot possibly be worse than what we have witnessed.

Well I do desperately want to see them split up. I don't think even the media obsesses over them being together anymore. It's become ridiculous, everyone else has gotten moved around, enough already.

Since signing his contract, he has 10 points in 16 games and is a +1.

He's on pace for 50-points with less 1 1/2 less minutes per game than last year (and a decrease in ice-time is the correct move because we are deeper this year).

People in this thread make it seem like he's dropped to Gomez level of production (25 points in his last 74 games).

I wouldn't mind subbing in Prust, Galchenyuk, and Eller for DD, Gallagher, and Gionta on the PP to see if it clicks, but the hate in this thread is pretty funny.

Pax-plek-ryder
Prust-Chuck-Gally
Eller-Deezer-Gio
Bourque-Halpern-Blunden/Dumont

we NEED to bring back the kids with Prust.

Bless you for stating the obvious. And double blessings for putting Bourque on the 4th line where he belongs.

He is now back to being the Bourque of last season. Floating, passes to nowhere, turnovers and killing puck possession when the puck is passed to him.

Can someone PLEASE make a Bourque thread so it can become as epic as the DD thread(s)?

Bourque is playing like a guy who just came back from a concussion after getting punched in the face by Colton Orr because the habs have no one to protect their skill players... what's DD's excuse?

Ryder - Pleks - Galllagher
Galchenyuk - Eller - Prust
Bourque - Halpern - Pacioretty
Moen - DD - Gionta

Markov / Subban
Gorges / Diaz
Bouillon / Tinordi
