Disagree- Tippett is too similar to Sutter. Grind down system(loves his grinders),limits creativity and his biggest knock is crap with player development (young guns).

I would have kept Sutter if I had a choice between him and Tippett.

I don't know how Stevens will evolve as a coach, but I'm sure he was instructed to change things up abit on the offensive side

Wouldn't be much instruction required, if it's the system or similar to the one in Philly, they'll do fine, his philly teams were at the top of the NHL for offense.
Tippett will and somewhere but not in LA, no job available and wouldn't be a good fit.

I like John Stevens, but I was frustrated to see Dave Tippett become available so soon after a head coaching change for the Kings. I think he could have been ideal. Agree/disagree?

Completely disagree. If we were going to bring in Tippett we would have been better off keeping DS. They have a similar style only DS is much better at it. Just check with the fans of his past team. He is an old style coach and never moved forward when the league changes.
