You musta been pumped by Ekholms lazy ass play on the 2nd goal. Or Stetchers lazy ass play on Forsberg on the 1st goal.

If they keep doing that stuff consistently for years, will be mad for sure. Although, one of those guys that we're hoping can elevate Nurse makes 1/12th what Nurse does.

2nd Goal was a bad change, can't really blame nurse/ek on that one. 1st one was a weak clear attempt but good stick lift by Nyquist. Perfect timing on that lift

Not really. Nurse was worse on the play but again, nobody was in position because of an awful change.

Darnell with two solid games and a 2 game point streak. A lot of us were saying all he needs is a puckmover on his pair. This way he focuses more on the defensive side and rushing the puck instead of trying to become a first pass defenceman.

It's working very well so far so hopefully he keeps it up!

I hope you realize Nurse was on the ice, right in front of the f***ing net, per usual, for both goals against. What a f***ing joke.

Do you know who hasn't been on the ice for a 5v5 goal against this year. Apparently I'm no longer empowered to even say his name on this forum... because the advanced stats are underwhelming or some bullshit.

Holy Shit. He's a machine this year. An elite Defending Nurse, I've waited so long for this day, and he's always had the potential. Keep it up Nurse!

I was going to mention it in the PGT, but Ekholm and Bouchard have to get it together a little bit in their own end on a few fronts.

I never, ever, in a million years thought that I would ever say that Nurse has been a rock and Ekholm needs to clean a few things up. Nurse is playing the best hockey of his career IMO, including the season that got him his contract.

I remember watching Nurse play against McDavid in the OHL playoffs and he was so good that series. He's always had all the tools... just struggled putting it altogether. This year he's been our best dman... hopefully this Nurse is here to stay.

Nurse was also a machine in the Gold Medal Game of the 2015 World Juniors. One of the best players on the ice that night.

I totally agree with this. He has his bad moments but some of the passes he's made this season has been unreal. People are too concentrated on his salary and focused on every mistake. To be honest, in overtime, I prefer nurse over bouchard with mcdavid and draisaitl. It is clear that nurse is faster, and defensively better than Bouchard. There is still room for nurse to grow. He has all the physical attributes to outperform his 9mill contract.

Posts like these often reverberate throughout oilers HF fans with negativity about nurse. Then one after another starts the onslaught of nurse and his fat contract. I tend to ignore this because these people pick on the mistakes and never have anything good to say even if he does something good.

He's been great, but let's not forget He's on w/ Drai alot who plays d.

He was good defensively for sure, but holy moly did he ever take it down low ALOT and just toss it away. It was alarming how many plays died on his stick when he took it low

Thankfully we haven't seen that this stretch. He's making smart plays

Definitely playing on par with the North division year. Him keeping it up would go an extremely long way to championship aspirations.
