Dany Heatley - What happened?

Agreed. Heatley accidentally killed his friend. Voynov accidentally beat the **** out of his wife.

Right and Kane accidentally beat the **** out of some guy and so did Lucic and so did and so did and so did etc. The difference is that NONE of those guys killed anyone. But I agree all of them deserve respect and forgiveness. And all of them deserve the same treatment for the courts and the NHL, they are/were all just young people making mistakes or having accidents, right? The bottom line is that it is either the same treatment for everyone or the entire thing is just a bunch of crap. Hypocritical nonsense.

You forgot a part: "Kane accidentally beat the **** out of some guy for $1.50."

He is 34 years old, that's what happened and he was having success in a different era. Now play is much faster.

lol @ this "accidentally" stuff when he was driving 30 miles over the speed limit in a 35 mph zone.

Yeah, and nobody who is drunk behind the wheel was TRYING to kill someone, it's still an accident, but we don't have much sympathy for them now do we?

Yet we judge one person for being completely reckless, and not the other person?
