This is not even close, Kap all the way. Heatley had 2 elite play drivers with him and only excelled during the crazy high scoring 4 years coming out of the lockout when everyone's numbers were inflated

There was only one "crazy" high scoring year after the lockout (2005-06). Even in 2006-07 when Heatley scored 50 goals, scoring was significantly lower than it's been since COVID hit.

You're talking about more than a decade later. The four years coming out of the lockout were night and day compared to pre lockout, especially the first 2. I watched him nightly for years, there's a reason he fell so hard and so fast and was washed up by 30, he depended on Spezz and Alfie, 2 elite play drivers

Scoring the last 3 seasons has been higher than it was in 05-06 or 06-07. That’s just a fact.

It’s also worth mentioning that Heatley finished top-10 in scoring in 02-03, while scoring was still low, and without the help of Spezza or Alfredsson.

A single season, before he destroyed his knee and killed his friend cause he sucks at driving, ya, he was good, but still not on Kap's level and never was for a second after that. Again, this is a guy I watched play almost daily which you clearly didn't and are just looking at stats well after the fact
