What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerHe IS a level 5 mutant... anything is possible.Apparently Magneto also did his thing to Yurov. He is out for the rest of the season, including the playoffs, according to a tweet- Pro Hockey Hub? Hope they are wrong. Is not good news for his KHL, team, or us.
Think it's pretty obvious that MMG hired that Sibir player to target and reinjure him as retaliation for not signing the contract...
Are you saying Yurov got Toyna Harding'd?The tip-off was that he was carrying a monkey-wrench instead of a hockey stick.
Antonya Hardinov'd?Are you saying Yurov got Toyna Harding'd?
As long as he doesn't fall out of a window.Yurov is in Germany for surgery.
But word on the street is Magnitogorsk bribed the doctors to botch the procedure. If they can't have Yurov, nobody will.
Everything is going as planned.....

Yurov played his first game since the injury today. His team is also down 0-2 in the playoffs, so he could be available soon-ish
I think burning a year would be a sure way to get him over here, but he could light it up and Hynes would still bury him.Having Yurov and Buium join this team in the next couple weeks would be incredible
I'm sure Shore or Gaunce would hit waivers to help but I don't have the math either.I should probably run that calculations before saying this but I’m at work right now, but can we afford to sign and burn both Yurov and Buium?
Money in a bag in the bushes gets it done.Is Yurov's KHL team willing to let him go before they have to (Marat K last year) or will they hold on to him until June-ish when his contract expires?

Except it hasn't really in the past for other teams. Marat K was the exception, not the rule.
Is it worth burning an ELC year for ~4 regular season games and the Playoffs?
I'm not against it if it just gets it done. Yes, they get to the 2nd contract quicker, but they also get to the 2nd contract without another year to improve/add value. So kind of a wash for me.Except it hasn't really in the past for other teams. Marat K was the exception, not the rule.

In my opinion, yes. If Yurov looks great, I'm not feeling as much pressure to overpay for a UFA this summer. If he doesn't, I know I still need to bring in more scoring somewhere.
It's a small sample size, but at least it gives me some idea of what I have and can help direct offseason plans.

I still go after the UFA regardless of how Yurov does. Add quality when you can and if the kids step up great, the team gets deeper and some dead weight can be dumped.
