Marat never led his team in scoring by 8 while playing 5 fewer games at 19/20 years old. Marat's good year, he was 6th in scoring (5th forward). Not quite equals. So, the article is saying that Yurov is going to come over and show what a good offensive player he is in the NHL, despite his poor production in the KHL this year, which was all about contract politics?
The same was said about Marat.
Something is definitely weird between last year's regular season, last year's playoffs and this year for Yurov, and I don't think it's out of line to wonder if it's not entirely him.
