You know what, if the choices are keep them as a package deal or start fresh with a completely new management team, I choose the latter.

This is pretty ridiculous.

QFT, this makes me sick.

I could never root for another team but I can't watch this ******** anymore. If we go into next season with the worst goalie and coach in the playoffs...AGAIN...:rant:

Shero is amazing at making trades but if he can't see something so obvious his ass can hit the road too.

This is such a great organization - they provide comedy both on and off the ice.

If he announces and extension in the press conference I sincerely hope that someone will stand up and boo.

But the media are so in their pockets it's ridiculous.

I'm going to wait and see what happens before flipping out. I've already said my fair share on the subject. Let's just see what happens.

Rob Rossi @RobRossi_Trib
TribHKY last i heard, not all in pens ownership group were keen on extension for Bylsma. But nobody wanted him replaced, either.

Cari @CariGoPens
As @LGP_netwolf pointed out, Bylsma and Shero were in meetings through evening at CEC. Probably just took a break and stopped by concert.

Well if Rossi is right about everything (Bylsma extension, Dupuis resigning) then I think it's pretty much guaranteed we'll see this:

Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis
Bennett-Malkin-Neal

MAF in net.

Excuse me while I go mourn the loss of the 2013-14 season.

Pffft . . . Bennett won't last long in the top six. LOL at anyone who believed that BS from Bylsma.

Ughhhhh... I feel like Shero and Mario are the two Bobs from office space, looking at Bylsma saying "boy that's a straight shooter with upper management written all over him".

EXTENSION?

EXTENSION?

what in the actual ****. Extension.

Extend my ass.

can it get any bigger?

I knew that Malkin would go to bat for Dan. He's not a liar and everything he's said publicly is that he loves Bylsma. I'm sure his AAV will be below 10, but still close. It sucks, but I guess asking him to take 8.7 is too much.

If this is true then Bylsmas coaching ability is so bad it's effected Mario/Burkle/Sheros judgement. It's so bad it's hypnotizing...

If Mario/Burkle/Shero sincerely believe that what happened against Boston was just a result of 'not getting to our game' and that Iggy was used in the way that was 'best' for the team, then they deserve everything they're going to get . . . Mario/Burkle another playoff flame out, and Shero a pink slip years before he should've seen one.

If they aren't even considering firing Bylsma now, a Shero firing must be yearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs down the road. Seriously

I'm just waiting to hear the word, just like Kirk said "not worth your time when you know what the outcome will be"

With a new coach, the Playoffs could actually be something we look forward too... :help:

At least we have two new video game consoles coming out in Nov, either way I'll have plenty of options to avoid the DB's Dummies.

Rossi is couching things 'last I heard', stuff like that. And, there's a difference between 'going to bat' and saying 'throw my *** out the door too if I'm wrong'. That said, I don't trust Shero. I see an extension . . . and game console purchases.

I'm sure not. I meant IF SHERO BRINGS BACK BYLSMA, then that's what all of them deserve. Pathetic situation. :shakehead

While I don't think that it's as contrived as this, I'm starting to think there is some truth there. Ray Shero knows that another hardline-coach isn't going to work. Not with these players. It's almost like he's being forced to have a player-friendly coach with the nucleus he has. I don't envy him one way or another.

What a contrived crock of bull**** this post is. :shakehead

I was thinking the same thing. Shero + Bylsma or Neither. Neither, every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
