Sure if that is what you understood then you do you. Our fan base standard is 0 goals against allowed. Not a goalie in the league who doesn't let in stinkers.

And also Woll has largely been insanely good all year. A poor game and bad goal and people in here talking like he is an AHLer. *yawn*

He's coming off a horrible game (when even he admitted) and then allows a goal on the second shot of the game because he's frozen thinking he has the puck when he doesn't. It doesn't inspire much confidence. Valid criticism for his current play.

Reading several comments about how Woll is Reimer or a scrub after those. It's why I made a comment I would love to see our fanbase with a consensus top goalie in net. Because they all do the same.

Hell the Stars GDT is destroying Ottenger

most hockey players instinctually check behind their goalie in those situations and sometimes just put the stick to cover regardless

I don't think it's timmins fault that he didn't do that, but it is a play that he should be doing

There were two Dallas players next to the crease, the only way he could have been in position to clean up the puck trickling behind Woll was if he'd just abandoned Stankoven entirely and gone off to the other side. Whereas Woll could have just not given up a juicy rebound or left his five hole open just wide enough for a puck.
 
We’ve seen Woll thinking he had the puck and didn’t, a lot this season.
Don’t see that often in this league.
 
I feel like people haven't watched any regular goaltending in awhile. It's only the first period where the Leafs are again dominated in puck possession. It would be nice if the team infront played as good as we expect our flawless goaltenders to be. It's the main reason the Leafs winning hockey games in the last 2 months.

If Reilly can't be effective playing with Tanev there is no defenceman on planet earth that will help his game.
