Doomers malding right now

After a win everyone is happy but you. You’re instead there thinking about other people.

After a loss everyone is frustrated but you. You’re just trying to be a contrarian. You’re like a kid screaming for attention.

Your stick is getting old. You care more about people being happy and mad about the team than you do about the team.

It’s hard to understand why you even come here to post. Seems like you are extremely unhappy.

The Good Today:
Sens Win
Pens Lose
Canes Lose

The Bad:
Wings Win
TB Win

As long as we are winning games and we have games in hand we are in a good position.

Let’s hope Amadio, Perron and Ullmark will be back and we are still in a good position.

Officially back in a playoff spot, and the only team fighting for the wildcard spot with a + goal stat.

I think we are behind Columbus but we have a game in hand

Full credit to the team with the way they played this weekend. They survive one more day. Really can't afford another bad streak.

We're 16-9-2 with Ullmark/Merilainen

Is Zub slowly getting back into form? Who else are we going to get back soon?

Gotta give a lot of credit to Green for going back to Leevi today.

Finally, he didn't go back to Forsberg twice early in the season after he posted shutouts, and I think there was some rest in between the games. I'll never understand this

It's more that we have every RIGHT to be upset/disappointed with this team with how things have went the last 8 seasons...

How can you be a doomer when you're not cheerleading a team that is still on a live streak for the 6th longest playoffs drought in history?

Good game by basically everyone. A win even though we didn’t score first!

Leevi has as many wins on the season as Forsberg now, really impressive.

A big week here and a win against Boston on Saturday could put us in the first wildcard spot and allow us to start building a cushion. Hope they continue to play well.

It's not a schtick.

I focus on the process and the performance of the team, not just the result. Anyone with a brain can see that the team has been playing great hockey despite the results lately. It's been the same shit all season long. It's f***ing exhausting how people overreact after every loss and take out their anger on me. They are completely incapable of looking at things rationally. It's doubly ironic when the biggest accusation is that the team is too emotional and immature, when it's they themselves who are too emotional and immature.

Besides, I'm well within my right to dish it back when we win.

Lol what?

Tell me you didn't watch the first period without telling me...
I was there. Watching. On our best chances we whiffed on the pucks or didn’t even get a shot on net. We were totally fine in the first period. If those chances go in it’s “wow Sens are flying!!”

Nobody in the franchise gives a shit about what happened 8 years ago. With the sole exception of Chabot, nobody in the franchise was here back then. Not the players, not the coach, not the GM, not the owner. Not even the jerseys and the team logo are the same.

That's YOUR problem, not theirs. Don't project your insecurities onto this team. All that's important is this season alone, and they are doing a fine job.

I think the Senators should hire you with the title “model fan”. At the very least some kind of internship. You can create content about how to be a fan the right way. It can play during puck stoppages and intermission. Maybe a segment or two with Claire Hanna.

“Process and performance” is for GMs. The entire concept of being an adult and spending time cheering for other adults to play a sport that has no real impact on anyone’s life except for theirs is irrational.
