A couple of days ago somebody asked why McBain was playing on the 3rd pair in Manchester. I said he is a defensive disaster and that our defensive prospects can make more minutes now. Suddenly I noticed him in a Kings uniform !?

I am just glad we have players like Brown who lead by example.

Kings averaging 33.1 SOG against this season. It's early. Full-season average hasn't been that high since 1996-97 (33.9)

FYI, the Kings defense back then consisted of a revolving door of Rob Blake, Mattias Norstrom, Philippe Boucher, Sean O'Donnell, Doug Zmolek, Steven Finn, Aki Berg, Jan Vopat, John Slaney and Jaroslav Modry.

Surprised 23 isn't in there, he is a such a leader, I always notice he is usually last off the ice in warm-ups.
