I still think that when we play like garbage, goaltending starts to show cracks. Youre seeing it with VV a little now. That Nelson wraparound was a bit weak, but it was all set up by us just throwing the puck away and going for a bad change. If that's a sniper other than Nelson, he might score there anyway with an open look like that, and it's the kinda thing that builds on itself.
The real issue is that losing Bastian shuffled the line chemistry, and we ended up losing two effective lines bc of that... Holtz's insability to play defense has sunk that spare part line as well.
Couple all of this with Bratt not generating shots.
It'll all come back. Things always get fishy around the holidays.
