Dallas puts in the empty netter to make it 5-2, lose 5-6 in OT

Just here to see things collapse

It’s games and comebacks like this that scare the 💩 out of you if you’re a fan of the Stars heading into the POs. The problem isn’t Rantanen. It’s their D and overall team D.

I just keep thinking about the Comeback on Katella and how hockey's reaction was "wow cool." That happened in the playoffs! Because a Canadian team does it in the regular season, its front-page news.

Never heard of it. :dunno:

Big moment in Ducks history, I reckon?

And it's "front-page news" because Vancouver set an NHL record. Would've had the same treatment if it was Utah or, well, Anaheim storming back last night.

DeSmith was challenging out of the net all night. In the third, Dallas stayed in their own zone the whole period. The Dallas media said, "...goalie Casey DeSmith let in a fluky power play goal when he slid too far outside his crease." This wasn't a fluke - you come out to challenge you leave the net open behind you. Instead of shooting you get in behind to deke when they do this.
Not only were Dallas rope a doping, they seemed bagged where the Canucks were absolutely determined by order of management via ownership.

The Wild play Calgary in one of these last games. One of them is going to get two points. I have been told it's mathematically impossible now for the Canucks to make the playoffs because of this but I'm too lazy to work out the numbers.

I put 10$ on the Canucks moneyline with a minute left.

Today im donating my winnings to the Canucks so they can finally buy a practice facility in Vancouver.

Very weird that they blew 3 3rd period leads in a row

35-1-1 when leading after 2 periods coming into the game vs Pittsburgh. Now 35-2-3 three games later

Wow. I doubt they get out of the 1st round...these losses tend to stick around for a while.

Embarrassing.

Don’t people still talk about it? People were even referencing it after seeing this game

Really? It happened last season.

? Am I missing something? They were only down by 1 goal in the video you showed.

Ah, they scored 2 in 13 seconds. Yeah, pretty epic there are well. Not on par with scoring 3 in the final minute and then 1 more in OT, but pretty epic.

Losing with 15 seconds left and then winning the game is pretty epic to me.
