And either way.... true Hinduists have a very flexible set of beliefs that can be changed to suit changes and developments. It's very fluid.

When missionaries from Britain went there to convert them to Christianity they accepted Jesus into their lives and hung pictures of him near their own gurus but didn't give up their own set up beliefs for it.

Buddhism is more a philosophy than a religion in that there is no belief in the supernatural required to practice it.

Hinduism is fluid and open to interpretation but generally God is within. They have deities but they can also be treated as stories and lessons.

Buddhism, Jainism, Taoism have no dogma.
