He's under contract for 7 more years

Plus I doubt the Sabres would move him to begin with; it would be a legit deathblow to the franchise as a whole
Contract?

I don't doubt Dahlin is frustrated. But it's more likely he is just venting to the GM. Still, what is Buffalo going to do to improve the team in the short term? They have plenty of talented young players and they at least tried a change of scenery trade with Norris/Cozens. They have decent goaltending and scoring. If there is anything I'd change it's the coach who just doesn't have a good team defensive system.

The thing with Dahlin is that he plays pretty dam hard for Buffalo and he's done so since he was 18 I think fans would actually not have ill will towards him wanting out.

Also can somebody fix the title , I am an idiot

I need more then Biz saying it to take it seriously.

But I wouldn't be surprised if that day comes I mean they are last in the east again , there is no sign of improvement anytime soon it has be getting frustrating he's been there 5 or 6 years now

Hopefully Josh Norris stays healthy because IF he can that could help because he's extremely talented a 1/2 unch down the middle of Tompson and Norris would be solid.

If Norris can't stay healthy it's ANOTHER step back.

Save Power and Byram instead. Dahlin signed that contract freely and gets all the PP time. He’s got nothing to complain about.
Power and Byam are both pretty bad so far defensively. At times, really bad. And rarely good.

This team has never even tried to use a defenseman who was good at defense for the past 15 years. It's all offensive PMDs, all the time.

Tage isn't a center anymore. Norris is 1C, Krebs and McCleod the other Cs, and on the 4th line we have someone playing center who has never played center before in Greenway.

That's not a team.

Biz "I cheer for the leafs now because they click on my stuff the most" Nasty is not a source of reliable information other than being a hockey bro fan boy who generates attention.

The league needs to Donald Sterling Pegula and get him out of the league. He's a cancer on the sport and every bit the lying scumbag as that conman in Arizona.
Yes and it sucks for Sabres fans because there's no other way to make their voice heard than to empty the building and not support the team financially which might lead to eventual relocation , sad stuff for the league if it gets to that , great fanbase

In that caswe if Norris can't stay healthy it's an even bigger step back then I thought.

Becayse if that's true then even if he does you don't have a 2C

if he doesn't you don't have a 1 or 2C

Good for him.

As a Sabre fan, our owner needs a wake call that the current GM and coach need to go.

And if he won't listen to the fans/media, maybe he'll listen to his best player.

The current owner needs to go. Until then, it's just going to be him making the hires and we've seen a decade and a half of what that looks like.

He signed the contract, he knew what he was getting into.
He signed it Oct 2023. We're going on 2 seasons of nothing. I'm not sure I buy this, but it's not hard to believe going into the 3rd season since signing the contract, he expects to see some change and wants to light a fire under the organization to make that change happen.
