Proposal: Dadonov to Seattle

Who's going to trade for a guy with a $5M cap hit that doesn't produce anywhere near that price tag?

Unless Dadonov does a complete 180° turn there's no way you can trade him at next years TDL for anything but another cap dump.

Seattle could retain for sure. On a team like the Kraken he might have a chance to do that 180.

IF Seattle makes this deal it should be made under the assumption that Dadanov is NOT going to bounce back next season. I am not confident that Dadanov bounces back similar to what @RainyCityHockey thinks and that would pretty much make him a bottom-6 player on our team making $ 5M. Now, I am not sure what the cost would be to take that on but something like a 2nd or 3rd round pick is not quite enough in my opinion.
