Kärpät had avarage PP percentage so abysmal is not quite the word.

Well, the PP percentage was the absolute worst by a big margin before Jokinen joined the team and stagnated even more in the playoffs.

I followed the team, and the PP was horrible. There seemed to be no structure to it.

I think he'll beat out one of the two young kids people are expecting to make the jump. Kivihalme was outstanding from February on. If he plays like that he'll be a top 4 dman within the first month of the season. Wouldn't surprise me if he becomes super hated in the process of doing so as fans whine that he was kept on the team above a Sandin or someone with more hype.

He'll have more of an impact than Ozhiganov or Rosen that's for sure.
