Big defender should he one of the top selections in the upcoming QMJHL draft and should be a kid that’ll be on NHL radars for sure for 2025. Conrad is a very good skater, he is able to pivot, and change directions really well. He has a very good stick, and is paticulareally good at defending against the rush where his defensive skill is In full display as he uses his positioning, good gaps, footwork and stick checking very well. He is a kid that is quite calm under pressure, you’ll seldom see him panic with the puck, he has a calulated pressence about him. I’m not sure just how good his offensive game will be, it is very good at this level but it’s a question mark of how good it really is. I guess we’ll see next season in the ‘Q’. I’d also like to see him become more physical. He doesn’t use his size too well and at times is afraid of contact. All in all a real promising kid for the future. I guess we’ll

8 points in 7 games so far

4 goals and 4 assists, including 2 overtime winners.

Leads the team in plus/minus

Playing absolutely amazing in his rookie season with the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHL

How did he drop to 20? He's one of Canada's best players at the WHC17. Almost all the other good players on either team were early first round picks in their league drafts.

He's a very reliable two-way defenseman. Big, physical, good skating, reliable defensively, and has some offense. Looks like a potential first round pick for 2025.

As a poster alluded to above, there were some "attitude" concerns coming out of Midget. It is also possible that Conrad wanted to stay in the Maritimes. Historically, there have been many cases where Atlantic Canadian players have told teams they wouldn't report to teams located in French speaking communities and vice versa.
