Another promising 2007 born player out of Germany, Bleicher is a smooth skating two-way defender. He is a poised defender from the blueline that makes simple, yet effective plays at both ends of the rink. I found his backwards mobility was quite good and used his stick to great effect to nullify many rushes that the opposition had. He positions himself well in the defensive zone and is quite good at retrieving pucks in corners. He should be a potential NHL draft selection in the future. I guess we’ll see how things play out for him.
