Marko Stacha at Eliteprospects.com

Eliteprospects doesn't list him among draft eligible players for 2020, and there was no thread about him here until now. I also didn't know who he was before this WHJC, where he was just one of two 17 year olds to play for the Slovak team.

I was surprised by his poise and puck moving skills. He didn't even play in the win against Kazakstan. He only played in games were the Slovaks were squashed, yet finished the tournament with a 0 +/- rating and had one assist in three games.

He wasn't on the Slovak team for the U18 Worlds last year, so I'm thinking he's had a nice development curve since. What are the chances of this kid getting drafted?

Big fan. Stacha has been on my radar since the Hlinka last summer, where he had a very good showing. Absolutely deserves to be drafted IMO.

He will be with the u18 team this year, I think a good showing there will help a long way. Imo he’s better than Knazko, mind you I haven’t seen Knazko in Finland this year. I’ve thought Stacha has been one of the best young dman in extraliga this year

We just need to believe that he is on some scout's list and is being carefully watched.
He would deserve to be drafted. Also IMO he is better than Knazko but has no such "PR"

Larry Fisher, who is writing fat rankings for portal HockeyWriters, has Stacha around 120 place in every list from August.
In the last one, he was on 134. position.

Curious to see, How will the CSS Rankings looking.

5 Slovaks? I pray he is right :)

I count to six, though I doubt any of Fatul, Faith or Krajc gets selected. On the other hand, Hlavaj and Okuliar are players that could picked in the last couple of rounds as older guys.

Everything above 2 will be success for us right now..

Yeah there is no chance any of those 3 previous guys get drafted. If Krajc stayed in Calgary and had a good year than maybe, but no chance now. I think Stacha, Knazko, Chromiak, Hlavaj will be drafted. Maybe a team takes a chance on Okuliar. If Kaslik had put up better stats in superelit than I’d add him because he always passes my eye test in that he always looks better than his stats suggest.

Could turn out to be a mid to late round steal in this year's draft, have to see how it plays out for him.

I agree, better skater, passer and poise with the puck compared to Knazko. However Knazko is more well known. Let’s hope scouts take a good look at his abilities

Drafted by Vancouver in import draft

Maybe similar patch like Chromiak? Here i would say it is only 50 %, he will go. He had already a good position in senior team of Dukla Trencin. And in new season it could be even better. Also with chance to play some national games for Slovakia Senior team.
